Yachats to Cape Perpetua

So here's the thing.

The trails around Cape Perpetua are worth adding to your destination run short list. There probably isn't a bad time to run these. Surprisingly, the best time may be during the annual Cape Perpetua Fat Ass hosted by Ardor Adventures on the first or second weekend in January. Some years are a wee bit miserable for weather, but when the weather is good, it's been pretty much the best day in January. 

Starting in town, near The Commons for instance, run along the oceanfront road until it meets HWY 101. Don't worry, not much along 101, cross the Yachats river bridge, then take first right to continue along the oceanfront.
